On November 4, 2018, the StarTribune featured MicroGrants’ partner agency MEDA in an article about MEDA’s work helping minority-owned businesses. MEDA provides business loans that are often much larger than a grant from MicroGrants, but the two organizations work in tandem so that grants from MicroGrants can fill in gaps left by loans.
