Shontay came to MicroGrants through the Black Women’s Wealth Alliance. She owns a plant nursery that grows, raises, and sells plants and flowers. She had just started her business when COVID hit, which was devastating to such a new and small business. Receiving a grant has given Shontay a chance to be successful going forward.
