Sharon came to MicroGrants through NEON (the Northside Economic Opportunity Network). She is the founder and owner of Peace of Hope, an organization connecting people in prison with their loved ones on the outside. She used her grant for repairs on Peace of Hope’s vehicle so that Peace of Hope could continue connecting people. She says,
“I most definitely want to appeal to anyone who’s considering becoming a donor at MicroGrants to do so. Your dollar is much more than a physical dollar; it may add to a much bigger solution.”
MicroGrants grantmaking is currently paused as we work through internal operations and determine next steps for the program.
