Mary

Mary came to MicroGrants through The Amherst H. Wilder Foundation. She says,

“I applied for a [grant for a] photography business surrounding mental health . . . Once I received the grant, I was able to get an entrepreneurship class at St. Thomas, which I am currently attending to try and make sure that I run the business accordingly . . . I want to thank you, the donors, for being able to help me with the funding to begin my business.”

September 2026 Program Update

MicroGrants grantmaking is currently paused as we work through internal operations and determine next steps for the program.

For our partner agencies: We will continue to share updates directly with you as more information becomes available.

For individuals seeking a grant: MicroGrants does not distribute grants directly to individuals. Our grants are distributed through nonprofit partner agencies that identify and support eligible recipients. If you are seeking financial assistance, we recommend contacting one of our partner agencies directly to learn about available resources and eligibility.
