Brittany came to MicroGrants through the Black Women’s Wealth Alliance. She received a micro grant to help her purchase an ice cream truck that she now owns and operates with her family. According to Brittany, “The grant was pivotal to our success.” She says,
“I want to send a special thank you to [MicroGrants]. As a new mom, it was super helpful and motivating for me to receive the money for starting my business, and it put me in a very successful space.”
MicroGrants grantmaking is currently paused as we work through internal operations and determine next steps for the program.
